We worked with David Trow to buy our first home this past Nov/Dec. David supported us throughout the whole process and was a pleasure to work with. We'd heard from so many friends how painful buying a home is right now--months of searching, making multiple offers that aren't accepted, etc. But we found a great home we wanted to make an offer on and David helped us make sure our offer was strong but also the right price for the market. He was very strategic to ensure we didn't get into a bidding war and helped us to understand all the levers to pull in an offer. The first offer we made was accepted on a very competitive home. We are so happy with our home and how fast and painless the process was. When relocating from one state to another, finding a realtor in an unfamiliar area that you can trust is a challenge, especially when you are doing it remotely. Based on our research and on the recommendation of a friend, we chose David Trow to help us with our move from CA to Longmont. David did not disappoint! Given that we were going to be able to spend little, if any, time in CO, we were expecting a long, complicated process to find a home we liked. David made it easy. Whenever we saw a home online that was of interest, he quickly made an appointment for a walk through. During his tours he included us via Face Time and made videos to show us after he left. His videos and commentary about the homes were as good as us being there in person. His insights about homes, neighborhoods, and the housing market in Longmont were invaluable. When we found a home we really liked, he expertly guided us through making an offer. When our offer was not accepted, his advice to quickly submit a backup offer enabled us to enter into a purchase contract when the first buyer pulled out, even though there was a higher offer entered at the last minute. As we went through processing the truckloads of paperwork needed to buy the home, David was right there with us to help us efficiently get through it. His genuine caring for and commitment to his clients, transparency, insights, advice, rapid response, and knowledge turned what could have been a long, tedious process into a fun experience. David Trow is THE person to sell your house! He's so knowledgeable about the process, extremely organized throughout the entire experience and he's dedicated to getting the most for your home. I looked at houses for 12 months and he was very patient with me, asked questions to understand my priorities, restrictions, and goals with my home purchase. David never pressured me to make a decision and always spoke up if he had any structural/safety concerns during walk-throughs as he also has a background in home-building so has a good eye for seeing beyond the cosmetics of a property. The market in CO is extremely competitive and for a first-time home buyer, it is very intimidating. Like most home-buyers, I put in a few offers before I landed a house, and on each offer, David communicated with the seller's broker to understand their needs and goals and then worked within my boundaries to be able to always put forth competitive offers. He walked me through that process carefully each time, wrote detailed and competitive offers that always put us into consideration and I never felt bad losing out because I knew David had put me in the best position every time. There's always something you do not control in those situations, like competing with all-cash offers, or dealing with sometimes 20+ other offers, so it was comforting to know David did everything possible and put me at the top of the list each time. Once my offer was chosen on the house I now own (!), the closing process was clear and straightforward. David walked through that process with me every step so that I always knew what closing deadline was coming and how to stay on top of everything so that we could have the transaction go through without a hitch. I'm really happy with how David represented me and impressed with how passionate he is about helping people find their homes.
